Something happening between 2 countries is always noticed by the world these days. And an incident like this will affect world policies forever. Things changed dramatically yesterday. I just hope things changed for the better, in the long run.

This is what we know now. Two planes smashed into both towers. One plane crashed into the Pentagon. One plane crashed in a field. The planes that crashed into the WTC were successful. The plane that crashed into the Pentagon was originally meant to kill the President and destroy the White House. Now the plane that crashed into the field...
A man called his wife from the plane to tell her what was happening. They confrenced the call with a 911 operator. That is when he learned of the other kamikaze like attacks. That man told the other passengers what was going on and what was going to happen. They willingly chose to die in order to keep from being used as a weapon.
Also. A bomb was found on the Washington Bridge before it went off killing untold thousands trying to get home. An attack against Air Force One failed to work; details unrevealed.
Out of all the carnage the terrorist/monsters only succeeded once. Only ONE goal was accomplished. We were very lucky yesterday people, our entire nation was almost crippled by a dozen people who were willing to die to accomplish their goals armed with one inch razor blades, and it may have been saved by one man who learned about the WTC and the people who followed him into death.
Now the truly sad part. We are all at war. This is just the beginning. The next attack can be anywhere at anytime and kill anybody. It is time to unite and stand firm. To put all, ALL, differences behind. If we do not stand together now and forever this can be the beginning of the end of the United States of America. I actually heard people talking today where I work about moving their kids to Canada to keep them away from the draft just in case it comes back. They were ready to jump ship now, at the very begging of the coming conflict.
I am ready to die like that man, giving my life so that our freedom stays intact. I am a natural cynic, but I do believe in the overall inner strength of Americans.
Jeremy Glick, the man who died to prevent the terrorists from killing even more people, should never be forgotten.

Also, nation wide people who have ancestry from the Middle East, or only happen to have a dark complexion, are being harassed and attacked by frightened fools. These are our brothers and sisters who have been in this country for generations. Most have a deeper respect for our rights then those of us who consider ourselves ?real? Americans because they know what it is like to have no freedom. This is what the bastards wanted. If we are to survive that means that this type of atrocity has to stop immediately. I call on all of you who read this to speak up publicly and openly against all of those you see submitting to fear and ignorance. We will be harassed also, and we may be physically attacked, but we have to do everything that we can to stop this degeneration of our society IMEDIATELY! No matter the place, no matter the circumstance, no matter the person. The situation is too fragile now and evil spreads when good people do nothing.

Some of you might remeber me from a year or so ago. I am posting this mesage at as many boards as I can tonight. It isn't much, but it is all I can do tonight.

NATO passed Article Five today, which basically says any attack on one member is an attack on all.

My own thoughts are that one act of terrorism in this country should be viewed as meaning potential ones on other western countries. Terrorists won't be afraid to do such a thing to other countries, if they know they can get away with it on us.

I do think that the US was attacked, not "freedom". We're hated for specific reasons, not democracy itself.

Whyat....I dislike Bush Jr. with a passion but at the moment he is doing the right thing..
The US government suspects Bin Laden BUT we have not done a "blind "counter-attack"" against anyone....as Bush said himself...evidence is being collected

For all intents this is starting to look like the US is going to start its own "Holy War"....and its called "kick some Terrorist ASS" no matter where they be...and it will not be just the US but the majority of Nations of the world.

Think about it, Terrorism happens and can only happen because some nations harbor these Terrorists. The majority of these nations citizens are INNOCENT..and the US does not go after citizens of ANY nation.

So what can we do? Sit here and die? Or strike back and topple the GOVERNMENTS that support the Terrorists and bring the Terrorists up on war crimes.

For now..this is EXACTLY what the US government is building Allies for, and this inlcludes Asian, Middle Eastern, and European military support.
For all intents this is a war on terrorism and any government that supports terrorism in any fashion.

It stops now....we as a world have sat on our asses and watched INNOCENTS die for close to thirty years in what the Terrorists THEMSELVES call a war.
As the Japanese learned in World War 2, once you piss off the American people you have a very big problem on your hands.

The world has greiviously underestimated the United States of America. Those of us who were against the death penalty three days ago are for all out war now. Those of us who agreed with the death penalty three days ago (myself included) want everyone who was involved with this attack dead. Congress is completely united in a single goal with the President and the American people. That goal is wide spread death of all who attacked us and supported our attackers. Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Beirut, Sieria, Israel, China, or China, we will invade, attack, bomb, quarintine, siege and obliterate any and all of them in our hate and need of retribution.
If we take on one Muslim nation the others will rise against us. Some have even more powerful allies like China and Russia who will not stand to lose their oil supplies to our bombs and who will try to stop us.
We have always heard that the USA is the strongest nation on the planet. It has almost become a cliche, but the world is about to remember how we got that title.
We have the means, the weapons, the people, and the will to kill everyone we can get our hands on with out any regard of the future.

God help us all.

Neway, this has this far only been a national incident. Yes, the threat is global, but so far only one country has been physically affected by it. What I mean by international incident is that if any country's gonna make it into a war, it'll be the U.S. IMHO, this was meant to provoke a blind "counter-attack" to justify further bombings of random countries. Or something. Either which way, the speeches of George "Wild-child" Bush and his ministers scare me as fuck. "We will make no distinction between the people who did this and those who may be harbouring them."

Which means that if Dubya suspects bin laden and suspects that he's in Afghanistan, american government is gonan bomb the crap outta them and prolly kill thousands of innocents along with possible perpetrators. This is not going to stand, not by U.N standards OR by the arabis/islamic countries. That would lead us to full scale world-war.

There will always be terrorists, just as sure as there will always be discontent people and bullies that prey on the weak. Like the guys that stole your lunch money in grade school (or, if that was the case, you). And with the easy access to the Internet, now everyone with the inclination to bomb a building and the pre-knowledge of connecting to the internet and using a search engine can do so.

I'm NOT arguing for non-violence, doing that in response of such a declaration of war would be foolish. But I'd sooner choose to bomb the white house than let Bush start a world-wide war with all arabic/islamic-countries. And that, boys and girls, is what's going to happen. The rest of the world is going to team up against the U.S for acting stupid. And trust me, they will. Just read the responses here to see how irrational people are acting. The American people are demanding blood, not guilty blood, just any blood. And I fear they'll get it. Arabic, as well as American.

A large snippet removed in all this, cause I?m at work and can't spend all day arguing on this topic. So you just get the opinion, not motivation for it.

Haha, just read on a news site that the CNN images of celebrating palestinians were actually shot in -91 after the invasion of Kuwait. I have if possible even less confidence for the american news channels now. It's all about making headlines.
